The public onsen underwhelming!!! No common space apart from the rooftop!!! Limited availability of hand towels which led to using paper towels for drying!!! Pictures misleading regarding outdoor onsens!!!

Good or Bad?
The morning view from the common terrace left me speechless, an incredible daily sunrise backdrop that enhanced my stay. The staff truly stood out, going above and beyond for guests like myself, even offering a ride to the bus stop.
No lift available, making it a bit challenging to access upper floors, especially with luggage in tow. Also, the steep access could be a concern for some guests.

The Standard Family Room was super spacious and comfy for our group. We had a large tatami area and even a separate living space, which made it easy to spread out. Two sinks were a nice touch for getting ready. Everything felt newly renovated and clean, which is always a bonus. Plus, it had this classic ryokan vibe that I loved. The only downside was getting to the upper floors since there’s no lift, which was a bit of a hassle with luggage, but overall, a really cozy experience!

The view of the lush green hills from the courtyard was breathtaking, with beach chairs set up for guests to relax and soak it all in. Enjoying delicious, skillfully prepared meals, especially the cold dishes and Iya Soba, felt like a treat. The spacious room provided comfort, and having a private automated onsen bath made the experience even more special. However, navigating the steep access and limited family-friendly activities can be challenging for some guests.
